sokobanjaThe Local Economic Development Office is the result of an
ongoing project which is being funded by the German government and
implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit
(GTZ) GmbH in cooperation with the Regional Agency for Development of
Eastern Serbia (RARIS).

Ministarstvu ekonomije i regionalnog razvoja Dejan Jovanović otvoriće
danas u Sokobanji Kancelariju za lokalni ekonomski razvoj u Sokobanji.
Kancelarija za lokalni ekonomski razvoj biće kontakt kancelarija za
preduzetnike Sokobanje, vlasnike malih i srednjih preduzeća, kao i za
investitore zainteresovane za ulaganja u ovoj opštini, a njena
prevashodna namena biće da Sokobanju učini privlačnom za poslovne
poduhvate i investitore kako bi se otvorila nova radna mesta i, samim
tim, poboljšao kvalitet svakodnevnog života graĆ°ana ovog banjskog
mesta. Kancelarija za lokalni ekonomski razvoj rezultat je projekta
koji finansira Vlada Savezne Republike Nemačke a implementira GTZ GmbH
u saradnji sa Regionalnom agencijom za razvoj istočne Srbije.

The Municipality of Sokobanja, the German Embassy
and the German Agency for Technical Cooperation, GTZ, invites media
representatives to the opening ceremony of the municipal Office for
Local Economic Development on Tuesday, March 17th

The German Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Wolfram Maas, the
State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development,
Dejan Jovanovic, and the President of the Municipality, Mr. Dimitrije
Lukic will attend the ceremony.

The Local Economic Development Office is the result
of an ongoing project which is being funded by the German government
and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische
Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH in cooperation with the Regional Agency for
Development of Eastern Serbia (RARIS).

The municipal Office for Local Economic Development
will serve as a contact point to entrepreneurs from Sokobanja, owners
of small and medium size companies, as well as investors interested in
coming to this municipality.

Its primary function will be to make Sokobanja business and investor
friendly place with the aim of promoting the creation of new jobs and
thus the increased quality of everyday life of the citizens of
Sokobanja.
